Peter Michel was born in Munich in 1969.He studied from 1990 to 1995 at the Berlin Highschool of the Arts. He studied oboe under Thomas Buchholtz (German Opera Berlin). Additional training followed including a mastership achieved under the guidance of Christoph Hartmann of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and Professor Ingo Goritzki.
His function as solo-oboist for the orchestraled to a successful career at home and abroad. In 1997 he guested as oboist for one year at the Gothenburg Opera in Sweden, and then continued with further performances at the State opera in Hamburg.
He is currently working with "New Berlin Chamber orchestra" and the "Berlin Symphonic Chamber orchestra".
Performances are to follow at various International music festivals for example: the "Heidelberger Frühling" and the "Festival Musicale di Ravello".
He has been playing solo-oboe at the "Contempory Opera" Berlin, since April 2000.
